ManagementInPractice.com is a free resource designed to complement the journal. The full content of each issue is available online so Practice managers care can find and access topical, expertly written articles on their immediate interests at the click of a mouse.
Management in Practice articles reflect the rapidly expanding role of practice managers in primary care and the importance of the link between practice managers, GPs, practice nurses and other staff. Articles include value-added "extras" such as useful contacts, related websites and links, details of relevant training courses, and recommended literature and other resources. The management articles are structured around the "key competencies" for practice management outlined within the new GMS GP contract.
The site has the latest issue available online and an archive that goes back to the first issue, providing visitors with real breadth and depth of content. All content on the site has been fully cataloged into appropriate Management Zones so that relevant articles can be found quickly and intuitively.

Management in Practice events
These are largest free exhibitions and conferences dedicated to practice managers. The first such event took place at the Birmingham NEC in October 2006 and attracted more than 900 practice managers. These educational conferences are complemented by full and varied exhibitions featuring key charities, product suppliers, educational institutions, primary care services and recruitment specialists.
