How you can show your support for practice nurses

This week saw the launch of the Nursing in Practice Respect campaign, a drive to gain more appreciation for primary care and community nurses, by highlighting their invaluable efforts.

As part of the campaign, Nursing in Practice has launched an e-petition to gain a national day of recognition for those nurses.

The campaign has already received widespread backing from a number of high profile figures, including Andrew Lansley, David Cameron and Clare Gerada.

Over the coming months we’ll be asking you to show support for your practice and community nurses.

In the meantime, why not get your practice involved by spreading the word to your patients and colleagues and by signing the Respect e-petition now .
