Syder and Young Ltd

Established in 2000, Syder and Young Ltd specialise in general practice management - both the recruitment and development of Practice Managers and other non-clinical practice staff.


We are an approved ILM centre and design and deliver leadership development programmes from Level 3 (Assistant/Deputy Practice Managers) to Level 5 (Practice/Business Managers). We also provide a comprehensive programme of short courses and workshops for all levels of practice staff.


We offer a complete recruitment support service to practices seeking to appoint a new Practice Manager. This includes developing a job description and person specification specific to the management needs of the practice, advertising, shortlisting and facilitating the interview process, as well as full administrative support.

We also offer a range of other services to General Practice including: facilitation of practice meetings, conflict resolution and management appraisals.
